Bad Real Estate Photo of the Day #1
Is this a nice hallway or what?
Ok, I just had to do this. As Realtors, we spend a large part of the day researching properties that match our clients criteria. It can be very frustrating at times. Either the listing agent has no idea about his property and puts nothing in the remarks section or else they just don’t think their listing is important enough to take a photo. One step up from nothing is the classic MLS photo that you just sit in front of your computer and scratch you head and just wonder “what in the world was the reason to take this photo”. Now I have 40 years experience as a photographer and this is not intended to be overly critical, but come on people, this is not rocket science with today’s digital cameras practically taking the photo for you. Most of the Realtors do a great job or care enought about their listings to hire a photographer to do a better job than they might do themselves. It’s marketing. The seller is proud of their home and wants it shown in the best light…no pun intended. But anyway, I’m starting a new Bad Real Estate Photo of the Day post. It’s all done in fun.
