Happy New Year 2008
We made it!! Happy New Year 2008 to everyone. 2007 was a challenging year in the real estate market, but the end result was one of our best years ever. Doing exhausting research and keeping our ears alert, we found some fantastic deals for our clients who are quite happy. With the inventory dropping along with interest rates, we feel 2008 is setting up to be a turn-around year in the Naples market. There are plenty of “steals” in the market, it’s just a matter of convincing buyers that now is the time. We have a saying that “Our ability to negotiate on your behalf is always better than waiting for the prices to drop.” We’ve proven that this year. Most forecasters say that the prices need to drop another 10 per cent this year. Well, that is possible today with good negotiating and good research.
December 31st ended a great year and it was also our anniversary. 23 years. Wahoooo! Ruth surprised me with a carriage ride around Naples. We started at the City Dock and traveled through old Naples, down Third Street and past the Naples Pier. Later we sat on the beach and watched the fireworks over the Gulf of Mexico to bring in the new year. It was a beautifull night and a terrific way to top off the year.
