Hemingway comes to Naples.

Hemingway has come to Naples. Well, Mina Hemingway that is. The granddaugher of Ernest Heminway is a Naples residents and recently decided to purchase The Book Store which is located in the Pavilion Plaza on the corner of Pine Ridge Road and U.S. 41. She’s been open for 3 months and has tripled the inventory and has dedicated an area to her grandfather in the front of the store with biographies about him and naturally with books written by him.
Mina’s read her first Hemingway book called “The Old Man and the Sea” when she was 6 or 7 years old. She never really met Ernest Hemingway, she was born in Kenya just a year before he died in 1961.
Although not comfortable with the fame that is attached to the Hemingway name, she loves books and has become a very popular addtion to the Naples cultural scene. We wish her well in her new business and welcome her to Naples.
