London Bay Homes of Naples named America’s Best Builder
Big high-fives to London Bay Homes! Builder Magazine has honored the Naples builder with the “America’s Best Builder Award”. London Bay Homes was founded in 1990 by Mark Wilson and continues to set records. Noted for it’s high quality workmanship and creativity, they continue to make progress even in a slow real estate market.
Wilson was quoted in The News-Press as saying “All the news you’re reading about is the market in general, through $500,000, what the average consumer can afford throughout the country.” He went on to say that homes selling for more than $5 million, the market in 2007 was actually better than the previous two years.
Wilson got started in home building with a Britain homebuilder, but eventually came to Florida to do commercial work. He switched to residential after doing his Master’s thesis on “Investments in U.S. Real Estate.”
