New hospital in Naples

Physicians Regional Medical Center, in East Naples, recently opened it’s doors on a 60 acre site just south of  Rattlesnake Hammock Road on Collier Blvd (951). This 200,000 sq ft facility is Collier County’s fourth hospital and will serve the medical needs of residents in the eastern part of the county as well as Marco Island.
The $80 million, 100 bed hospital features 18 emergency room patient bays and four surgery suites. The 3 story building has all private rooms and is designed to be expanded later to potentially have 420 beds.
This new hospital has only the second digital 64-slice CT scanner in the county which is state-of-the-art for diagnostic imaging and digital mammography for breast screening.
The Collier Blvd facility is part of the Physicians Regional on Pine Ridge Road.
