Naples Beach Hotel named to Golfweek’s Best Resort Course List
BunkerShot.com reports that the Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club has been named by Golfweek magazine to its prestigious list of “Best Resort Courses in 2007,” according to the resort’s general manager Jim Gunderson. The 125-acre resort features Naples‘ original championship golf course, and is Southwest Florida’s only resort directly on the beach that offers on-site championship golf, a world-class spa, and award-winning tennis center.
Owned and operated by the Watkins family for 60 years, the 318-room resort recently completed $40 million in enhancements over the last six years. This included a $6 million remodeling of the lobby, which was completed in 2005.
