Naples Tidbits #3

This year’s Naples Winter Wine Festival was yet again a fabulous success raising $14 million to help underprivileged children in Collier County. The auction drew a lot of attention with some amazing items. Included in the auction was a 2009 Bentley Brooklands Coupe which went for $450,000, a $1 million bid got you a walk-on role on Desperate Housewives, another bid went for a 19-day trip to the Summer Olympic Games in Beijing. Nearly two dozen charities will receive grants thanks to a portion of the proceeds from the festival.

Michael Flarley’s Lord of the Dance will be at The Phil on March 1st to 3rd and Smokey Robinson will take you back in time at The Phil on March 3rd.

Up at the Barbara B. Mann, Johnny Mathis will be in town on March 9th, followed by The Temptations & The Four Tops on the 17th.
