Naples Tidbits for October 4, 2007

The morning news has arrived and here are the highlights:

  • Quarles and Brady, which has an office in Naples, has been selected by Yale Law Women as the No. 1 law firm in the United States for family-friendly policies. The ranking is based upon employment policies that facilitate work-life balance for attorneys.
  • The Cole Brothers Circus is coming to town on Novembeer 22nd. and will set up their tents near the Naples-Fort Myers Greyhound Track on Bonita Springs Road. The elephants and clowns should be here about three days. It’ll have a lot of the appeal of Capitol Hill.
  • Several people have wondered if they could use an antenna or satellite dish in their apartment or condo. The general answer is yes, the FCC regulations permit the use of antenna and satellite dishes and the landlord can’t prevent you from getting a signal. But there are restrictions so check with the FCC website for the details.
