National Geographic Portraits
If you love photography like I do you’ll enjoy “In Focus: National Geographic Greatest Portraits” exhibit at The Center for the Arts in Bonita Springs. The exhibit contains 56 portraits that have appeared in the magazine over the past century. You’ll recognize alot of these portraits but there are many that will surprise you. All these photos appeared in a 2004 “National Geographic” book called “In Focus.” In the forward, editor Chris John talks about the portraits and the people who shoot them.
The Center for the Arts is located at 26100 Old 41 Road in Bonita Springs. The exhibit continues through Dec.2 and their hours are 10-5 Monday thru Friday and from noon to 5 on Saturdays. Admission if free and if you would like any further information you can call them at 239-495-8989 or visit their website at http://artcenterbonita.org.
