The Nomadic Project comes to Naples
An exhibit titled The Nomadic Project: Experience America Through Art is coming to Naples from November 15th to December 1st. It will be on display at the Journeyman Gallery located at 2220 J&C Blvd.
The Nomadic Project Exhibition depicts all fifty states through art, music and film. The work was created when Kristin Abraham and Alfonso Llamas toured America with a vision to unite the country through art. They lived and worked out of their Honda Element for over a year. Abraham painted a canvas in each state and displayed it at a gallery, museum or art center in the next state. Llamas documented the journey through original music and film. When the artists returned from visiting all fifty states, the original paintings were spread over the entire nation.
