The Quarry Golf Course Opens
Development of a new community is always exiting and The Quarry in north Naples is no exception. To draw prospective clients to a new community, the developers, in this case Centex Homes, usually build the golf course first. The Quarry Golf Course is now completed and open for business. The 18 hole, par-72 course was created by Hurdzan/Fry Golf Course Design and built around several lakes of which the largest is 300 acres. The course utilizes the natural environment of what was originally an active limestone quarry.
A complete driving range is on premises with an expansive tee area, putting green and a chipping area which includes bunkers for improving your short game.
The Quarry Golf Lodge is scheduled for completion in late spring of this year and will include a formal dining area, a bar and grille, billiards room, pro shop, locker rooms and separate card rooms for both men and women. A large terrace will be available that will provide a panorama view of the 18th green and fairway.
