Yeah! Ruth’s Chris Steak House has opened it’s Coconut Point Mall location on U.S. 41 in Bonita Springs/Estero. This is the first of two that will be in the area that includes the Coastland Center Mall location in Naples which is scheduled to open on Feb 1st. Ruth’s Chris is a premiere steak house that features New Orleans type appetizers, fresh seafood and of course great U.S. Prime steaks. The restaurants secret is to cook the steaks to 1800 degrees and serve it sizzling on a 500 degree plate.
The restaurant company was founded over 40 years ago by Ruth Fertel in New Orleans and is the largest fine-dining company in the country that includes 99 locations worldwide. The company is very community oriented and the proceeds from wine sales at the opening parties were donated to the local Habitat for Humanity chapter.
