Wear Red Day 2007 is February 2nd!

We got an email recently from Theresa Feller, the Collier County Heart Walk Director, reminding us of the National Wear Red Day. The following is the text from her email announcement. Please see if you can participate or help in any way. Thank you.

Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women in America.  Go Red for Women is a national call to increase awareness of heart disease - the leading cause of death for women - and to inspire women to love their heart and take charge of their heart health, to live longer, stronger, healthier lives.

You can do your part by joining millions of Americans and wear red on National Wear Red Day, Friday, February 2nd, to support women and the fight against heart disease.

Go Red for Women.  Get involved.  Take action.  Help save lives.  To join the movement, call 1-888-MY-HEART or visit www.goredforwomen.org.

Last year your business or community may have participated by wearing red on our National Wear Red Day. Thank you so much for supporting this important day! I will begin delivering supplies and a kit on how to have your company activate this cause on February 2nd.  Please let me know by Wednesday, January 17th if you are interested in participating once again in National Wear Red Day so I can get you your supplies.
